The Second Life Goonies

A fan art tribute to the Second Life Goonies group, a nostalgic adventure roleplay group inspired by the 1980's movie The Goonies. This poster is a pastiche of the original movie poster, depicting Second Life avatars.

This took me five and a half weeks of my spare time to complete, and also serves to advertise the new Goony 2.0 project that I'm excited to be a part of.

Avatars featured are, from left to right:

Gemini Enfield (Goony Separatist) in the place of Mama Fratelli

Myrtil Igaly in the place of Andy

Jesper Toll in the place of Data

Loki Eliot (Goony Leader) in the place of Brand

Tepic Harlequin in the place of Mikey

Jimmy Branagh in the place of Stef

Kris Spade in the place of Mouth

Winne Woodget in the place of Chunk

(Sevian Ninetails' mask in the place of the skull)

Update 2010-08-03: Minor fixes to small details, gamma corrected so the darkest parts are clearer and tinted a little red to better match the colour palette of the original poster.
