Colour-Your-Own Cyberman

This is a line art drawing of a Doctor Who Cyberman as seen in the 2006 David Tennant series episodes Rise of the Cybermen/Age of Steel.

I'm currently trying to develop a comics art style, so this is an attempt to be slightly stylised and re-posed rather than a perfect replication of a source image (for reference, I used the original 2006 publicity photo that revealed the new design).

However, this took me almost 7 hours to complete - so clearly this isn't a sustainable style for comics unless I want to take a week or more per page(!) - however it does look good and I am pleased with the end result.

That 7 hours is NOT including the more than an hour's work I lost yesterday when my art package crashed as I'd finished and was saving, losing the entire bottom half, and YES that did happen with the last piece I drew as well, and YES that IS extremely annoying!

I'm not currently planning to colour this, although I may in the future. Currently I'm most focused on practising line art, my next coloured piece will likely be some more wildlife art.
